The Artist Behind the Work

Meet the Artist

I was born in a small village by the lake, where I grew up immersed in nature’s gentle beauty. The intricate details of plants, the charm of tiny creatures, and the animals on our family farm filled my childhood with wonder and curiosity. From an early age, I found joy in the magic of small, often overlooked things, and this passion inspired me to pursue jewellery design and craftsmanship. It was here that I developed my keen eye for precision and creativity.

My artistic journey evolved through private fine art classes and architectural studies, eventually leading me across the sea to the UK. There, I spent several years in high-end fashion and visual merchandising, consistently guided by an artist’s sensibility and meticulous attention to detail. Yet, it was during the quiet reflection of lockdown that I truly rediscovered my love for drawing and painting.

Becoming a mother breathed new purpose into my art, compelling me to specialise in watercolour pet portraits. Through each piece, I strive to capture and immortalise the unique spirit and personality of beloved animals, creating lasting memories for pet lovers. Today, every artwork I create is infused with my enduring love for detail, texture, and life itself. Just like the enchanting discoveries of my childhood, every pet—and every story—deserves to be celebrated and treasured forever.

My Journey

Childhood Dog Sketch

From Pencils to Paint

My journey as an artist began in early childhood, filling countless pages with sketches and imaginative drawings. My passion for intricate detail and precision naturally led me to study jewellery design and craftsmanship at college, where I refined my skills and deepened my appreciation for meticulous artistry.

Creativity in Many Forms

Alongside my formal education, I pursued further artistic growth through private fine art classes, first during college and then at university. Driven by my love for design and structure, I also briefly explored architecture. Each experience enriched my artistic perspective, equipping me with a broader vision and deeper understanding of how to express life's subtle nuances on paper and canvas.

Wildlife Art

Art for a Cause

This renewed dedication opened exciting opportunities for collaboration. I worked alongside several galleries and supported the Invicta Wildlife Fund, using my art to raise awareness and funds for endangered wildlife conservation efforts in Africa. Combining creativity with meaningful action, this period deeply enriched both my work and my personal mission as an artist.

Motherhood: A New Chapter

Becoming a mother opened yet another beautiful chapter in my artistic journey. Inspired by the profound bond between pets and their families, I began specialising in bespoke pet portraits. These watercolour artworks capture and immortalise the unique spirit and personality of beloved animals, reflecting the tenderness and depth of these cherished relationships.

Today, my art continues to evolve, fuelled by life’s experiences and my unwavering commitment to detail, creativity, and heartfelt compassion.
